By the combination of raising and establishing the Earth, a Son of the Earth was born. Being the Son of the land, he was named Bhomasur

He lived inside the land and there he was in the contact with the Devils, so he considered the Gods and humans as his enemies. he had got a completely devilish tendency. His name had become Narkasura because of the reprehensible work against men and the Gods.

Narkasur made the penance of the supreme father Lord Brahma for immortality, but on the refusal of Lord Brahma, he asked that his mother be helpful in his death. He had become so drastic after getting boon from Lord Brahma.

Furious Behaviour Of Narkasur

The courage of Narkasur was so much increased that he went to heaven and robbed the earrings of goddess Aditi and also looted the umbrella of Lord Varun. He had captured the famous Mountain Mani of heaven. He looted a lot of wealth of heaven and the Earth and hid it in his palace.

He invaded heaven many times and kidnapped many beautiful girls of heaven. He also made it difficult for the inhabitants of the Earth to live. He had also kidnapped so many girls of Sages. Thus he kidnapped  16, 100 girls and kept them in his palace.

The palace was protected by a great monster called Muru, who had 10 Sons. Narkasur had also appointed three other Demons Haygrev, Nisananda, and Panchnad as gatekeepers, to protect Alkapur and his capital Pragjyotishpur. All of them were great mighty Monsters. All of them used to scare the pious souls who were going to heaven.
